The principles of sustainable development, inter-generational equity, the precautionary principle, and the public trust doctrine, as embodied in international instruments including the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development and the Stockholm Declaration on the Human Environment, shall guide the interpretation and implementation of this Article and all state policy.
